It gives hope...but do you think that a guy's mind will have any of the strenght you talk about? Ego is men's best friend...

no doubt, the identification with your mind, which causes thougt to become compulsive (ego) is a dreadful affliction that almost everybody is suffering from. it is almost considered normal.
but anyone can cure him/herself from it by becoming the 'watcher'. watch the ego at work without judging it and the simple act of watching will take away all of it's power.
you don't need hope, you need to make the decision to change.

the key is off course to give the mind LESS stength. use is for practical problems, the push the off-button.

I think you can generalise that to any identity you build with raising consciousness, not just PUA's.

I sometimes catch myself on thinking "What? But I'm much more conscious than them..." and then being sad because I still get hurt by something. Nasty trap to fall in to.
